Many have said that what they got out of The Celebration of Hope WAS great.
That the things answered in prayer WERE amazing.
Lets not just remember the past- but look to the future!
The lights in The Odyssey may be off, the stage down and the bands gone home. God however, is still here, and still hearing our prayers!
Please use the Operation Andrew cards as a permanent resource. Whilst there may not be a huge event at the Odyssey to look towards in the immediate future, the principle is the same! Bring your friends before Christ in prayer, and by persuing a friendship with them- show them Gods love in your everyday life!
Check out our links section to find out what our partner agencies have lined up in the coming weeks and months. Why not use these events as part of your Operation Andrew plan?
-If you would like a speaker from either our BGEA team, or our local team to come out to your Church, YF, SU, CU, Cell group, or indeed any meeting- we would be happy to oblige. Just contact us and we will do our best to help you.

OPERATION ANDREW
The Odyssey Arena 4- 6th April 2008
A once in a life time event is coming to Belfast. Franklin Graham, President of Samaritans Purse, and son of Billy Graham has accepted an invitation by local Christian leaders to conduct an outreach festival, with leading Christian artists in the Odyssey Arena from the 4th –6th April 2008. His autobiography “Rebel with a Cause” details his own struggles as a guy who rebelled against his upbringing but who came to faith at the age of 22, through a friend who built a relationship with him and led him to Christ. The philosophy behind these outreaches is 45% preparation, 10% proclamation and 45% preservation.
Part of the 45% preparation is Operation Andrew based on the verse “Andrew then went to find his brother and he brought him to Jesus”. Operation Andrew is a proven tool all over the world to challenge people and bring them to Christ because it is based on timeless principles. It involves five steps:
Look Around -- your mission field is right where you live and work, list names of individuals, whom you will pray for regularly.
Look Up -- because God changes people through prayer. Pray each day for those on your list that God will give you opportunities to share his love with them.
Look Out -- for ways to cultivate friendships with each person on your list.
Look forward -- to events that you can invite those on your list to. The more time you spend with those on your list- the more chance you have to show them Christ in your own life. Invite them along to the Celebration Of Hope Festival services in the Odyssey from the 4th- 6th April
Look After -- for those on our list- The Celebration of Hope is only the start of it! Make yourself available to those on your list who make a commitment at the festival, to nuture them in their spiritual infancy. Those on your list who dont make a commitment at the festival still need prayer. Remember that so much of what God sews we shall only see in the years to come.
